I’m Ellen Fields, also known as Queen Bohemia. Since my very first trip at nine months old, travel has been my greatest inspiration. Starting with a degree in geography, I learned to see the world as a vast, intricate sphere—alive with shifting landscapes, climates, and cultures that shape how we live and create.
My life has unfolded between contrasts: the elegance of luxury destinations and the quiet charm of simple living. Queen Bohemia emerged from that balance—a confident alter ego who draws inspiration from everywhere and lives unapologetically through creativity.
My work as a surface designer is infused with the rhythms of live music, the vibrancy of visual art, and the wonder of global exploration. From textiles and clothing to home goods and stationery, my patterns celebrate beauty, joy and the art of living well.
